We are a professional organization of experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners making a difference in the medical field. We are committed to our professions and providing excellent care to our patients. We represent APPs employed by our University’s medical centers in Pittsburgh and its entities in the community. We have one common interest: fair working conditions, benefits, and wages. We are also supported by our physician colleagues.
APP Umbrella Objectives:
Rationalize and negotiate APPs’ quest to catch wages up to the National Standard
Provide group legal advice and representation
Protect APP benefits
Advance the rights and working conditions of working female and male APPs with group organization
Promote continued education and current training to optimize APP healthcare
Utilize the employee rights found in labor law to secure the current issues TOGETHER
